Our purpose

Aboriginal-led early learning that keeps culture at the centre.

Wunanbiri Preschool Incorporated provides Aboriginal specialist educational and family support through a formal preschool program. Our program is designed specifically for Aboriginal preschool-aged children and their families, blending a play-based early education curriculum with strong cultural connection.

  • Culturally safe learning where every child sees themselves reflected and celebrated.
  • School-readiness built through literacy, numeracy, language and social skills.
  • Whole-family support that walks alongside parents, carers and extended family.

Culture & identity

Where every child stands tall in who they are

At Wunanbiri, culture is not an add-on — it is woven through every part of the day. Through story, song, art, language and connection to Country, children build a proud and secure sense of identity that will carry them for life.

We work in genuine partnership with families, Elders and the local Aboriginal community to make sure our learning environment is culturally safe, welcoming and grounded in respect.
